All guards down

 

A visual narrative of human layers and how for some letting guards down is a struggle. Using a vibrant palette to change the over generalized belief about guarded individuals being dark, maybe some only struggle to verbalize what is underneath, or maybe what is underneath is too fragile that some feel a deep need for their guards as a shield. The objective of the series is to demonstrate how each individual has untold stories, and to draw attention to the importance of choosing to always be kind, regardless of the visible external layer exposed.
